Families know their children learn best when they are in the right learning environment for their unique needs and learning styles. For many families across Tennessee, learning pods are the best choice for their students. With learning pods, small groups of students learn together outside traditional school settings. Families find these learning environments enhance educational and socialization opportunities for their children.
With the proposed amendment, this bill will protect learning pods from unnecessary and burdensome state regulations that interfere with parents choosing the best educational fit for their children. Polling shows that a large majority of Tennesseans believe our state needs more K-12 education options, and Beacon Impact believes this bill will encourage and enable more of those options to exist and serve students.
